Ebay Postage Bags

Hi All,

Where can i get these ebay postage bags from? Are these the bags i am suppose to use for the printable label? Are these bags available at the post office?

I noticed it says the postage cost of $6.95 will be taken from my account at the end of the month so does this mean, once i get the bags i just put them in the mail box with the postage label on them?

I have my own packaging (bubble wrapped postage bags from kmart that cost me $2 for the pack) Could i use the postage label on this or is this only for the ebay bags? Should i do flat rate and select a price of my own for these ones i got from kmart?

Any help would be great!!! So confused!!

Thank you!

Re: Ebay Postage Bags

There are flat rate satchels (and boxes), which can be purchased online from Australia Post (they have a store here on eBay: http://stores.ebay.com.au/Australia-Post-Store which has a bit of info about their products), the satchels are the same size a pre-paid satchels from Australia Post, and you can pay the postage for them as you go by using the Click & Send website, or you can process them on eBay have the cost charged to your  account and pay when due.

On Click & Send (the website), and here on eBay, you can also process and print labels for parcels in your own packaging, so which one works out to be better for you may depend on convenience or cost.

Both need to have a label printed out and attached to the parcel, but you can't (or shouldn't) put an eBay flat rate label on a parcel that's in your own packaging. (You need to enter a code to use flat rate options, or select own packaging).

There are some differences between using flat rate satchels and own packaging, particularly if you use the C&S site, not eBay, to process labels, such as payment methods, but I hope that clarfies things a little.

Re: Ebay Postage Bags

Digi I thought I read that the ebay printed labels can only be used with the ebay branded satchels and the qualifying boxes and that the printing service was not yet available for own packaging.

I have only used the ebay print label a couple of times as I prefer to use the C& S site so I can pay with Paypal as I go rather than having an extra hit on the fees when the invoice comes in.

When they introduced the system, you could only use eBay satchels, but they recently expanded the options and you can now use own packaging when processing labels on eBay.

I send very few parcels these days, and also prefer to pay as I go.
