Ebay emails arrive late most of the time

Notification of item sold emails are arriving anywhere from bang on time to 3 days late. Anyone got any ideas about what it could be? I'm wondering if I change email accounts, if it will get any better. Or if it is the Ebay mail server. I'm Currently using my hotmail account.

Nothing to do with your e-mail account - it's a problem eBay have been having for at least a couple of weeks; mentioned in other threads.

Yes, most of my ebay and paypal related emails are showing up hours or days late

Best just log in to PayPal regularly up until your postage cut off time.

Wonder how those selling zillions a day will be coping.

I'm having the same problem & it's very frustrating. I'm sure if it was a problem with eBay billing (ie eBay receiving their monthly seller fees) it would have been well & truly fixed by now!

Im not having problems with ebay emails but for the last 3 or so week paypal has been very hit and miss (mostly miss). Sometimes the email come through quick other times its hours between purchase and email. Funny thing is on my website paypal emails are coming through immediatly.
