We who live in Victoria , was sent a message regards to AP delayed extended delivery times thru EBAY messages, well what about this
buyer from Melbourne buys an item from us late on Tuesday the 4th August ( last week) claims he never received item , demands a refund and slams on us a negative , in feedback states (never received on time not good enough wants money back.
states item coming from outside Australia with the letters MF) at the end.
we contacted EBAY CHAT they state Ebay policy has not changed as far as delivery exceptions go , the buyer has the right to give you a negative , and that Ebay cannot back you up that item is coming from outside Australia.
EBAY HAS NOW REMOVED COMMENT BUYER LEFT in brackets stated above but not the negative!
it is hard enough to make a living these days, and not to have the support they state to claim very disappointing .
BELOW IS MESSAGE EBAY HAS ON THERE MESSAGE BOARD

When it comes to eBay policies, eBay doesn't know their own policies on many levels!

yep what a joke we contacted eBay back another chat , read back everything the other chat person wrote down , never took any notice to new eBay updates they list on their updated notice board , this mob is a real joke , you request to speak top someone or the supervisor , they just hang up.
find it hard to wrap my head around how they treat people, even tried to ring Ebay USA they said there was a 45 minute wait .

It's got nothing to do with eBay USA, so there's no point ringing them.
If the neg rating is going to cause sleepless night for you, go onto eBay's online chat support, and politely point out that when you had the feedback reviewed for being in breach of the current guidelines for Victorian sellers, they removed the comment but forgot to remove the actual negative rating.
I emphasise politely, because customer service reps. don't normally hang up on customers making requests in a reasonable way.

Did you include tracking in the shipping. eBay only support this feature only with the sales with Tracking

The interisting thing here is are they going to extend this protection to vic sellers and sellers interstate sellers sending to vic. As the postal sytem in vic is still stuffed. To send something to few surburbs is still taking up to 3-4 weeks in alot cases VIC to VIC. If they do not everyone better get ready for delivery strikes esp to VIC buyers

And given AUSPOST have just pushed their delay time from 3 days to 5 days on missed deliveries in VIC that in itself shows how bad it in vic...
