Hi Ebay is removing my genuine used listings. The times removed are all genuine second hand items with a full description of the condition of the item. I have a large number of items in my store and I am a registered second hand dealer. All my items are used and I am concerned that this will deletion of my listings wil continue. I have spent hours on the phone and online chat with no luck. Has there been a change in the Ebay marketplace? Regards Greg

If you search the brand you are selling you may notice some sellers do this whether its genuine or not.
You should have got the email with the listings they pulled but the worst is with no access to the listing is finding it when you use an inventory reference in the listing.

Hi I am continuing to have my listings for genuine second hand listings removed. It has happened again tonight. This is becoming a serious issue for me as this ebay store is essential for me to financially support my family at this time as I have metastatic cancer and have just committed to use a new experimental drug that my oncologist has recommended but is not on the PBS so I have to pay the drug company $5000 per month. I have spent hours talking to ebay staff on the phone and online chat with no assistance to either reinstate my items to my store or stop them removing them. Could someone please tell me if there is some means to contact a senior ebay manager in Australia. I have spent 15 years on Ebay, I cant believe how I am being treated. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Unfortunately eBay is mostly automated and the office here in Australia have a few staff and don't take calls.
The only option is contact us, as you have done and ask for a supervisor.
But these types of scenarios are often fruitless and a waste of time discussing with eBay especially if it is a genuine owner of rights requesting the removal of listings.
eBay is not in a position to judge but only follow orders.
Sorry to hear of your circumstances.
As suggested, I would be spending time on rewording listings instead.

Is it possible to access a supervisor through these boards? I have paid ebay fees for 15 years and followed the rules. The ebay dashboard tells me I am a TOP RATED SELLER rated and have a zero rate of transaction defects, late shipments, and cases closed without seller resolution. The initial Ebay consultants I speak to congratulate me on my longevity on ebay and approach and express their surprise about how I have been treated. They then transfer me to a specialised unit who refuse to reinstate my delisted items or stop removing them. The supposed reason is ludicrous - one look at the store you can see that I am not impacting on anyones intellectual property. Every time they remove my items I lose the decriptions permanantly and they continue to damage my small business at the worst time for myself and my family

No, this is a member-to-member board.
The "specialized unit" they transferred you to was probably already a supervisor.
I don't know what you can do as I am not even a seller. Maybe you can try live chat again on a different day and at a different time, so there might be a different supervisor. Occasionally people had some luck with different staff and supervisors.

Thanks. I will try live chat again

I have tried live chat again. Again I have had no luck with Ebay agreeing to reinstate my deleted listings or desist from removing them. Once again I the initial Ebay consultants I speak to congratulate me on my longevity on ebay and level of surface and express their surprise about how I have been treated. They then transfer me to a specialised unit (supervisor) who refuse to reinstate my delisted items or stop removing them. I once again explained my personal situation but I can only describe the supervisors response as quite cold and callous. I think he thought I was an American as he told me to go the court hearing, which I did not understand at all. Are US sellers able to appeal this through the courts maybe?

This seems to leave me with few options to have this addressed. Are there any resources that anyone can refer me that outline any legal protections an Australian small business seller has in this type of situation.

Are you able to narrow down the removals - ie - a particular manufacturer - a particular ' brand '.??

Doms idea was going to be my suggestion, if you can narrow it down to one or two manufacturers then relist without the name.
Or have 'This fits Toyota etc' or as someone said 'For Toyota'.
You have signed up for eBay's T&C's so legally they can remove listings from what is their site especially if the request has come from an outside third party through the VERO program.
And there is nothing you can do apart from a workaround.
In other words, it is not worth any stress over it, especially in your situation.
Just focus on getting better, in that I wish you the best.
