Ebay managed payments (Australia) Opt out or alternative payment options to bank deposit

Ebay Australia's switch over to managed payments (for my business) is a major impediment not a benefit.

I am a seller who uses my paypal funds received from sales (on a near daily basis) to send payments across the globe primarily for business.

Under the new Ebay managed payments, I will now have to wait up to 2+ business days to now have my sales funds deposited into my bank account from Ebay (maybe another business day before the inefficient banks here process the payment) & then will have to process another transfer back to Paypal (Another 5+ business days) - I now have no other option around this after numerous chats/calls to Ebay customer service/accounts trying to opt out of managed payments or seek an alternative. The current system works well for me, even if I have to pay a higher cost.

As a seller, I personally couldn't care less about Paypal's spin off from Ebay & the 'business rift' that has developed between the two but there has to been an alternative (Hyperwallet etc) or some businesses will suffer from this narrow minded approach & could potentially leave the platform - is this in Ebay's interest?

Yes Etsy is a good alternative to ebay, for a long time now ebay has just become a 2 dollar shop full of seconds from china.

You'll find the exact same complaints being made about Etsy these days - full of generic items from China.

Also, their payments system is almost identical to ebay's - Adyen does the processing, Etsy does the payouts. Only difference is they are both internationally registered, unlike the eBay / Adyen combo.

1) LOL do you know what Austrac is for?
2) Yes they will
3) Adyen is regulated by AFCA, Adyen is the processor for the payments, do some research,
4) Do some research on the fees, Or ask Afca.
5) Sure man, just like you get the "fraudulent" disputes that you need to cry to AFCA about.

btw see ya, tried reasoning with you but brick wall was easier to talk to.

No you can't.

It's been 2 years since you could, unfortunately.

I literally have the option in my etsy payment options page to set weather i want them to integrat paypal payments into their payment system or through my stand alone payment system. Though my account is 11 years old so it legacyed in.

Interesting, I have two shops on Etsy, both of which were opened years before the newer payment policies, and neither of those were "grandfathered" in.

I'm also admin for an Etsy seller support group, and no one there was grandfathered in, either.

There was a time when they made it mandatory to sign up for their payments system as it wasn't always mandatory, but you could still have standalone PayPal - for a little while, you could toggle that on / off. Then they made it so that if you toggled it off, you couldn't toggle it back on again (to have standalone PayPal, I mean), then in May, 2019, they integrated everyone, with no choice in the matter.

Except your account, it seems - wonder what makes your account different than everyone else who's been on Etsy just as long?

I don't care why. If I thought it was relevant, I'd be focussing on that, and / or asking you questions related to that.

You're missing the point of why I'm replying to you - I don't care what you do or do not do with your business, or why, I care about people (i.e. everyone else reading the forum threads looking for help or answers) having the right information to base their decisions on in the first place - hence, once again, why I asked if you would update the forum on the outcomes of dispute processes, and / or substantiate other claims you've made.
