I thought you could only use echeques if you had no other payment method set up

I've just had a buyer purchase 3 items from me, two of them were instant payments I have received and the third is an echeque. How can this occur?

OP, simply contact your buyer and let them know the situation, and ask if they are happy to wait for you to send all together or not.

You should let them know regardless because they may well think it has all gone through immediately, and you run the risk of low postage stars having to wait for the eCheque to clear.

I have had one take 7 days before, whereas some clear as quickly as 3 days.

Simple call or message to the buyer will put both your mind and theirs at rest.
