Just a reminder boys and girls that Daylight Savings end this Sunday. If you are specifically listing items to end at a ceratin time you will need to adjust it by an hour.
For example, if you are starting something at 6.30pm so that it ends at 6.30pm to catch people when they are home from work the listing will actually end at 5.30pm.
I forgot myself and listed about 300 items which I would have preferred to be ending an hour later. D'oh!

It gets more complicated if you are not in a state that has daylight saving.
Ebay works on NSW time.

No adjustment necessary. They fix it for you.
Listings that run during a daylight saving time-change will still receive the full listing duration. For example, if you have a 1-day listing that starts at 1pm on Saturday, and the daylight saving time spring transition occurs that Saturday evening, the listing will end at 2pm on Sunday.

That's interesting as that's never happened before.
101 of my items were listed for 10 days at 1 minute intervals between 6.15pm and 7.55pm.
They are now scheduled to finish between 5.15pm and 6.55pm. I hope they do adjust it. That would be great!

Actually I just re-read what you quoted. I believe that's for when Daylight Savings starts.
List it at 1pm and it will finish at 2pm, therefore you get 24 hours.
When Daylights savings ends: List it at 1pm and it will finish 24 hours later at 12pm.
