I was trying to edit my description to remove active content in HTML and I got this error when I clicked Update. "It looks like there's a problem with this listing. Variation specifics can't be changed in restricted revise". I since worked out I had a variation which wasn’t completed or had some other error in this case it was missing a photo. I deleted this variation and then I was able to remove my active content html in the description and save the listing. Hope this is of some help to others with this issue.
