I gave the woman until yesterday 12pm to pay for the item and she still hasn't paid.
Just wondering if I should give her a third chance and give her until tomorrow morning... or just go on with raising a dispute right now?
My husband seems to think that if I do and she pays in the meantime, I can withdraw the dispute. Is this correct?

Yes, the moment she pays with PP the dispute will be automatically closed; if she pays by other means you just close it selecting the "buyer paid" option.
But, i would not let her to pay by PP without paying for the postage. If she pick it it up, you have no proof of posting and she can claim she did not get it. You can get her to sign receipt that she collected and take down her car rego number, that would be good enough to report her to police for fraud, but not good enough for PP dispute.

As I said earlier IF you decide to open the dispute then send a new invoice WITH postage before you open the dispute so if she decides to pay with paypal to close the dipsute she will also be paying for the postage.
If she pays with paypal and the postage is included you can just post it too her.
If she pays with paypal and decides to pick up then she can open a dispute for not received and as you can not prove postage she will be refunded and still have the item.
If the listing stated pickup only then that would be different but as it sounds like you have agree to allow pick up then if she paid with paypal you are at risk of her opening a dispute.
She has stuffed you around enough.
You have agreed to something that was not in the listing.
So why wait any longer?
You have given her the chance to pickup and pay so open the dispute instead of letting her dictate terms to you.

*sparklez*... looks like the problem has become bigger and I really can't believe this is happening to me (but down deep inside I'm sure it's happened to others plenty of times??)
I have another I.D. and guess who sent me a message asking to pick up an item and won the bid before I could answer her??
This has gotten a little dumbfounding for me, as you can probably tell.
So right after she won this bid, I replied her saying that it's postage only. Now what can she do? Can she retract that bid if she doesn't want to pay for postage?
I do not want her to pick up because she sees me as a different person and if I let her pick up, she'll see it's me from both I.Ds.
I'm laughing and crying at the same time.

Send her the invoice for the new purchase and tell her that pick up is not an option and it was not in the listing.
As she has won the item she can NOT retract her bid.
Give her 4 days to pay and if she does not then open a dipsute.
DO NOT let her waste any more of our time and add her to your blocked bidder list now before she causes any more damage.
She sounds like a right pain in the proverbial.
If you have opened the other dipsute then she might not want another opened so she might pay up.

Thanks for the valuable advice.
I'm in the process of dealing with her as we speak.
I do prefer to deal with it as amicably as possible and she has apologised profusely.... so I'm open to giving her one final chance, even though she is a tad of a pain in the you know where.
This time and this time ONLY though - I will stand my ground!
