Fake gold and silver

Can ebay tell me why they are allowing people to advertise 999 silver or gold and not making sellers state in big words that the item is only PLATED in silver or gold?It should be illegal to advertise fake goods as real.

They rarely if ever read the member to member forum

Or the buyers who choose to buy it

Aside from eBay do not vet listings and have no staff qualified to tell if something is fake from a photo or not even if they did
