Fast 'n' FREE -- Why don't we qualify

It seems to us that our listings meet all the criteria below, but still none of them are showing the Fast 'n' FREE badge.

Anyone got any clues what we could be missing to stop this badge?

This is affecting both our stores.

The eBay Fast 'N Free logo appears on listings when all the following conditions are met:

  • Both the buyer and the item are located within an Australian postcode (excluding Lord Howe Island NSW 2898, Norfolk Island NSW 2899, Christmas Island WA 6798, Cocos Keeling Islands WA 6799, Australian Antarctic Territories TAS 7151)

  • The seller is an eBay Top Rated Seller

  • The listing offers free postage

  • Based on the seller and buyer postcodes, eBay can estimate with a high level of confidence that the item will be delivered within four business days

  • The listing isn’t in Classified Ad format

  • On eBay Motors, eBay Fast 'N Free will only be used for listings in the Parts & Accessories category.

Generally listings with free postage and either same business day or one business day handling will qualify for Fast ‘N Free if we can estimate with a high level of confidence, based on the seller’s and buyer’s postcodes, that the item will be delivered within four business days.

Re: Fast 'n' FREE -- Why don't we qualify

I get the red error message if my express option is a satchel but it works fine if it is just express parcel post. Like you I have been unable to get the get it fast banner or the get it fast and free showing on any of my listings though.

Re: Fast 'n' FREE -- Why don't we qualify

Ozfalcon does have it working and is being very helpful trying to compare my listings to theirs to see where we differ.

But despite trying several things so far no luck.

So watch this space and if I get it working you will know what the solution is.

Re: Fast 'n' FREE -- Why don't we qualify

I now have it working on all my free postage listings. The only thing I changed was I added my postcode to the item location on the revise your listing page. Makes sense that eBay can't estimate if it will get somewhere within 4 days if it doesn't know what postcode the item is in.

Sounds fair.

I thought the seller's postcode was a system default, but then I thought it is eBay we're talking about.

I'd just like to thank all those who chimed in to help me on this one.

It's been bugging me for quite a while.

I find the help and advice given on these boards by those who have far more experience than I fantastic.

Much better than dialling 1-300-HELP.

Well done to all!

Re: Fast 'n' FREE -- Why don't we qualify

No problem at all Clarry, it had been bugging me too.

Dave, if I relist I do get a default postcode, but for some reason it is my original postcode that I signed up with, no matter whether I made the listing 2 weeks or 3 years ago. I believe I've changed the address everywhere I need to. In frustration I have just been wiping it clear as there is nothing there if I list from scratch.  I should probably make a phone call on that one.

Re: Fast 'n' FREE -- Why don't we qualify

Hello I have  only ever been a buyer from the earliest days of E-bay in Australia

Question  Is Fast-N--Free a Courier company in Australia or just a type of freight delivery system eBay uses to say the freight is free I am confused?

thanks for your help
