After having managed payments activated for me today, I have had my first sale.
Item price was $68.00 and postage is $9.95. Total $77.95
Ebay now takes all fees upfront, so according to my the new tab under my Seller Hub, the nett balance due to me is $67.42, which I believe works out at 13.5%. I think this works out the same as when Ebay and Paypal took their different precentages separately?

I don't understand why people are having arguments about fees .... makes no sense
If you are a seller you should know what the fees are and include them in your selling price. So, does not matter if the fees are 5% or 40% - only thing that matters is, if you are making sales.
Everybody pays the same, we're all in same boat
eBay is still the cheapest market place for professional sellers, but, if they decided to double the fees tomorrow, I would not care less. I would just increase the prices and move on. Is just a business both for eBay and sellers.
Even if all other marketplaces have higher fees, I still sell on them, just my prices are higher that eBay. And I still make sales, so, i don't care what their fees are.
Apple Store fees are 30% - don't see many sellers complaining .....
