Re: Foreign Bank accoumt

Correct

You are registered in the USA

Here in Australia, you need an Australian bank account to sign up for Managed Payments

Are the rules different there?

And in Australia, the time to do this is before listing anything so the seller can be verified to sell and ergo, be paid

Re: Foreign Bank accoumt

That’s right, OP. To sell on eBay.com.au, you need an Australian bank account. This is in line with requirements by law (a measure against money laundering and fraud).

Are you sure you want to set up as a seller on eBay.com.au? Shouldn’t you be setting up on eBay.com as you’re registered in the US?

If you’re trying to specify a bank account other than a U.S. one, I can’t see anything that specifically addresses that on the relevant eBay.com Help page.

Have you read these Help pages?
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/registering-seller?id=4792

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/start-getting-paid-ebay?id=4795

If those links don’t help, ask on the US community boards and hopefully you’ll get the information you need.

Are you in Australia now as I see you sold an item here  showing

"$200 + $25 Postage anywhere in Australia"  in the description.

As already mentioned, you'll need to be signed up for  managed payments with an Australian bank account to

receive your money.

So if  the item hasn't been posted, I suggest you cancel the transaction
