Funds on hold after CX confirming receiving item

So my funds are on hold. Well over a week since the cx has the goods and confirmed it to me. Why do I have to wait 3 weeks because they say the postcode doesn’t match? Seems a tad fraudulent. And yes, the customer has confirmed delivery with eBay.
