Given they had 3 promotions in 4 weeks, I wouldn't be holding my breath for another one before Christmas. Anything is possible, but the odds are stacked against it.

There is a promotion running at present and finishes on 13th ..... maybe after that one ???

That is  20% discount on FVF for items over $100, for the first 3. Hardly representative.

Yes, I understand that .... it seems they finish one promotion and start another ....   just saying ....

but then (like some)  I'm not an expert in these things   🙂

I agree .... sometimes there may be an overlap of a couple of days .... but it's unusal for two to run consecutively .... whether it's free insertions, first 3, or $100 items ....

It will be interesting to see whether we have one before Christmas !!

Hopefully with xmas, post-xmas and new year they will give us lots of free listings to sell stuff.

I also don't understand the business mentality at eBay.  If they had any decent analysts they would see that throwing 100 or 200 or so free listings each month to us small-scale sellers means we will list more items and they would make more money.

They should have worked out in the 10 years ive been on eBay that i am never going to pay to list. Ever.

They do throw 100 free listings every month to us. There were 2 lots of 200 free listings in December on consecutive weekends. Given they did that, I would be very surprised if they gave any more out before Christmas. It wouldn't make sense now anyway with Christmas being so close.

Sadly, they already know that - people won't pay for listings, so they jack up the listing fees to make up for the free listings and/or put you on "Best Match" page 57 (good thing we can actually change it to view cheapest/latest/ending soonest - until eBay stops that too).
