I found that if I want to revise an item, the auto relist box is not there. But if I want to sell another item - yep! its back.
BTW I know I said I was going to do a live chat thing to see if I got the same answers as others. If you knew the week I've had, you'd all forgive me for not doing it. I think Saturday is going to be the first chance I get to do ME things.

Just spent over 2 hours revising 80 odd listings due slowness of Ebay but at least it appears I've got them back. Hope that was a Win for the Power of the People on this board and the amount of complaints they got.

Yes, it is VERY slow at the moment. Probably more changes happening.

I did find that I had to do a cookie/cache clear today, 'cos eBay wouldn't let me log in. But as said above Saturday looks like my earliest time to see if it works.
Hopefully the 'glitch' will be fixed across the board by then and everything will be back to 'normal' !!??

I had this issue with some of my revisions, but I found if I reclicked the revise button at the end (along where it says preview listing etc) then it reloaded and the checkbox was back. It happened about half a dozen times in 40 or so listings.

But the whole business is Very Odd isn't it? I wonder if ebay meant to remove the relists? or whether it was a glitch? If it was a glitch, why all the BS spun by the Live Chat people? It's a fact that in some countries people feel that they're losing face if they can't answer a question so they just make something up. They don't think about the consequences of it, they just do it so they don't feel bad. I've heard many people say over the years that if you ask directions in some countries you can end up driving miles in the wrong direction simply because the person you asked doesn't like to admit that they just don't know.
I'm pretty sure the comments have all been in relation to Asia, so it would make sense that the ebay staff just make things up as they go along rather than admit they don't know what's happening. That would explain the wild variations in answers people have received over this issue. I really wouldn't be surprised if it was glitch, but nor would I be surprised if they suddenly had a change of mind when they realised we're not going to pay to list.
I actually got an eBay educated CS person reply to an email I sent last year. I had suddenly lost the 3 free relists and couldn't work out why, so I fired off an email. The reply came in with the usual cut and paste reply about having sold more than 100 items, but then she added her own text to it as well. It went something like "it's worth clearing out your browser cache as that can often cause the option to disappear. If that doesn't fix the problem, then it's due to selling too much". Cleared the cache and it reappeared like magic!
I think there are eBay educated staff there, it's just a matter of whether you're lucky enough to get one. Even then, you don't always know you've got one when everyone is getting a different response. I've encountered a few who have been very helpful and written their own reply, as opposed to the computer generated one, but they are few and far between.

You and me both! My days off didn't pan out as I had hoped. I was getting sporadic time on the computer, but not long enough to start a live chat. Hopefully we don't need to worry now!
When I revised those 2 listings last night, the box was there for me, but it wasn't ticked. I had to manually tick it. I spent last night deleting and moving photos around in my eBay photos folder so I could relist my items using the quick lister. I was deleting photos where the buyer had left feedback or were more than X months since being sold and items where there still isn't feedback were moved to a different folder, just in case. There were hundreds in there, so wanted to make the relisting job a bit easier. I'm glad I took the time to do that, otherwise I would have spent the night relisting items with the quick lister to get the relist box back!

People might need to check the automatic relist button is clicked on in their listings.Strange things happening. Ive had items listed with auto 3 relisting definately clicked on and today that all disappeared. Some items only got one go around. Some on their second and then all ended up in unsold items. I manually went in and checked all listings and 90% had button unclicked. Seemed random. Anyone else?

One that I revised last night to tick the box is finishing in 15 minutes. I'll see if it does relist. The dropdown is showing that it should relist, but we'll see.
The items I relisted a little while ago had the box ticked when I relisted.

My item relisted itself.
