I just happened to jump on Ebay.com the other day by accident and was gob smacked that when they receive their free listings promos - they get a whopping 1500, sometimes 5000 free listings compared to our measley 150!

You may find that was for store sellers. Most auction sellers here don't have a monthly selling limit high enough to able to benefit from that amount, even if they were for non store sellers.

Store sellers on ebay Australia also get 1,000 or more free listing offers from time to time.

Usually 5 or 10 thousand. Once, even, 100,000.

It's smoke and mirrors anyway. Anybody listing over 2,500 non-media items is better off with an anchored store. In which case ALL listings are free.

As a non - store seller I haven't received any free listhings since May.

I received 150 free listings offer via email this morning but it was for an alternate ID on which I have never sold a single solitary thing.

I've never received one on my selling ID. Not once. 😞
