I have had an offer for free listings for items over $100, unfortunately I have hardly anything at that level that I can list, chatting to some other sellers this seems to be the case for them too, hardly anything or nothing at all to list. This finished on the 7th of October.
Maybe Ebay is trying out this to see how it works, Im hoping though that we will still get the 100 free listings either today or tomorrow though as most people cant use the offer for items $100 and over : ( whereas so many of us can use the other one : )

totally agree..i also received the free listings over 100..which ended last week..Most of my listings are well under that so no use to me..seems no one is getting the normal batch under 100 as yet...Hope we do as they help me keep listing without getting an excessive bill if not much sells

Im staying optimistic that they will offer it to us either today or tomorrow : )

If you have lots of stuff to list have you looked at the calculator to compare your current fees with opening a store? If you're currently listing with BIN and auction and very few of your auctions have more than one bid then you may be better off listing as BIN at your auction price with a store. With a Basic Store you get 80 free BIN listings per month, 30 day listing exposure and lower FVFs for $20 a month.

Ive thought about a store but people say you get less exposure with a store? ie you slip even further down best match???
I may have to try it though.
Would have to open at least 2 stores though to get anywhere near to the 100+100+40 every month that we are being given at the moment as non store sellers.........: )

I went from regular selling with the 100 free listings, to a store where my sales plummeted to nothing. I'd get a couple on the weekends but nothing like I was getting (20 a week) as a normal seller. I've just changed back and the interest in my products has increased dramatically. Things that had no watchers now have 15.

PP do you have repeat buyers or random buyers, if repeat ones, cant you "lead" them over to your store?

I send, with all my parcels, a business sized card with my ebay listings link anyway - always have ๐ I've had several repeat buyers and a few tell me they have me saved as a search (something new I learnt rather than simply saving as a seller!!).
I get more combined orders with auctions too. I think people panic/impulse buy ๐

Card sounds like a good idea, yeah I get multiple buyers on auction items : ) Im very uncertain as to whether or not to open a store as well as my normal auction account : )
