Please if someone can assist.

 

I have been hit out of nowhere with the funds availability program as supposedly I have not hit 95% tracking provided. We have been selling the exact same for over 8 months with no issue. Now our payments are being held for over 2 and a half weeks.

 

I contacted support, and after 30 minutes of them trying to understand the situation, they said I needed to create a business policy. Regardless of them not answering why it all of a sudden has occurred after 3 times asking, I got transferred to someone to help me set up the business policy.

 

The website then continued to not work "page not there". After an hour of trying to fix my listings, I gave up and tried again in the afternoon.

 

I spoke with an agent who seemed to have helped me with the policies (still not answering why this all of a sudden has occurred after 8 months of selling over 2,000 items). I then requested the payment hold be released earlier as was advised by a previous support member once I updated the policy, the previous day's hold will be released within 24-48 hours. The new agent denies this and transferred me to another department where they wrote the generic "hello" message and then did not reply for over 20 minutes. I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for a response and have progressed no where.

 

Where can I go to get this fixed? Does it have to be through customer service. I have tried to be patient all day, but trying to get a problem which has occurred simply to "protect the seller" (when clearly it is protecting ebay from potential losses) for over 2 hours with no answer is making me lose my mind.

 

I would also like to know if there is a way to report customer service members as well.

 

Please if someone has advise or can help.

Funds Availability Program

You are required to send , and upload tracking within your handling time, for 95% of parcels.

 

If you send as letters and use a generic 'standard parcel', which requires tracking, that will impact the metric.

 

If you don't upload tracking within your handling time, that will impact the metric.

 

The only way I know of is to look at your postage, use what is appropriate for the item you are selling, upload tracking in a timely manner and wait until you get over 95%.

I checked some of your sold items and they show you are using "Standard postage (eBay Postage Labels)". If you are sending these untracked that will be an issue. I doubt it would be an issue but you never know using anything but an ebay label may cause problems.

Why has this happened all of a sudden?   Simply because you have finally dropped below the requirement for 95% tracking.  As such ebay holds and penalties, IE: additional sales fees, sale restrictions etc, are now applicable.

You get notified every month, how your tracking metrics are performing.

Thank you all, it seems that brickworksmarket is correct. They only introduced eBay Postage Labels as a default option a few months ago which is why this 95% criteria never applied to us in the first place. We ended up bulk fixing up our listings and it seems to have solved the issue.
