I have just been charged gst on an iten i sold to australia from Newzealand . I live in Nz and i am not registere d to pay gst as this ia a hobby and makes little money. Though it will make even less now! how can i alter this situation ?

eBay is required, by Australian law, to charge GST on ALL imports through their platform under $A1k.

This has been the case for several years.
