A seller in the US is listing computer parts with a generic picture (ie no photos). Example: 114334542095
Most of the items turn out to be too expensive after adding postage to Australia, but the problem is that they have 45,000 listings. Pages of listings with a generic picture displace local items when searching by 'Newest Listing'.
Are generic pictures allowed? Ironically the seller has 100% feedback for 7,000+ sales.

The seller is in the US, but they are listing on multiple sites, including Aus - same rules apply, anyway.
The answer is no, it's not allowed (it would come under "photos that do not accurately represent the item").
They have no details in their listings at all, apart from the mandatory condition on most ("used", with nearly 15k managing to be unspecified), and some of the product identifiers filled in, in some listings - the description is just a copy / paste of the titles, which are mostly as generic as their images - their sell-through rate is unsurprisingly low for a seller with nearly 65k listings (though seems like they've been busy in the last 5 hours, if their count has jumped by 20k, they do have many pages of new listings, anyway, so maybe most of their listings are new - stuff they sold 6 months ago had real photos ).
