Would'nt it be wonderful when Australia Lost goes up for privatization, Greedbay could buy it and really nail the little guy to the wall.
I rang up and asked if a seller anciently over charges for postage, does the right thing and refunds the difference Greedbay WILL not refund you .
They want to encourage "free" postage, which is all well and good for big companies. Seems the billions they earn isn't quite enough anymore.
As in the words of Gordon Gecko, Greed is good.

I had one buyer purchase 6 items that were the same. They didn't wait for an invoice, just paid $56 in postage and sent a message that they would like the excess refunded.
Now l could 'enhance the buyer experience' in eBay's eyes and just post off quickly.
Or l could follow through with the customer service that was drummed into me over the many years, and refund the excess.
Which l did.
The trouble is, too many small refunds through paypal and your account gets flagged (mine currently is, despite me ringing paypal to explain what the refunds were for.) eBay have already taken their % of the postage and l'm happy to wear that but scoring a defect for the refund is not fair.
l have 3 defects, all for the same thing - refunding overpayments. Three messages to eBay customer service have gotten me no where, even when l point out the buyer messages that prove what the refunds were for. Few glitches in the system at the moment.
