H! Having a real problem and I will try and make a long story short.
In the real world I had this guy rip me off for quite a large some of money. Anyways he has followed me onto ebay and although I keep bid blocking him he keeps on starting new accounts and bidding. I have asked him to stop but he continues to do so. He also keeps doing the same thing on facebook. He lives locally here and I am getting quite concerned for my own safety, plus I am also concerned he will leave bad feedabck just to ruin my score on ebay. Any sugestions? Thanks.

My wife says I should speak to the police. It is becoming a real worrry and I am hesitatnt to really even list on ebay as it is becoming to much of hassle watching out for this guy all of the time.

I'm with tech on this one
It does seem that it is time to go to the police, however only you know the full story, so that is just on what info you have given us.
I would also ring eBay and l;et them know - I am pretty sure that they can monitor the IP or some super techy thing
next suggestion, have you considered getting a new selling ID and retiring this one until the dust settles? I know it's not an ideal solution, and hard to walk away from an account with that much history and thus established reputation, but at least you could still sell and fly under the radar and not be so worried all of the time.
Best of luck with it.

starting anothr a/c to bid if you are blocked is an ebay offense, so definitely report him to ebay for that
for the other stuff, yes, talk to the local police.

As far as the ebay side of it, call ebay and tell them what is going on and you block them only to have them get a new ID to bid.
They can take action on them for that.
Facebook side, that would be stalking and is worth going to to the Police about.

You've got a few good suggestions so far.
There is the police, they are more onto this sort of crime now.
There is contacting ebay.
There is starting a new account to fly under the radar.
There's one thing that hasn't been mentioned and that is that just about everything on facebook can be set to your preferred level of privacy. Go into your account details and privacy settings and set it as friends only,(not friends of friends or public)
That should stop the person posting on your FB. Don't respond to them in any way.
If you are worried about a physical attack. for now your best option is to get out of sight as far as possible. I know that is unfair on you, but if it means opening a new ebay account for a while, it could be worth it.
But do make a point of getting all of this on record with the police first.

Totally agree.
Whilst it might be unfair that you have to hide from somebody, there a worse alternatives available.
