Hi folks, I had a buyer ask me if I could express post an item I had listed so it could arrive on time for Christmas. I said that I could as long as they paid for the extra express postage cost. She said she was happy to but before I could adjust my postage cost on my listing and invoice, she had already purchased the item and paid for it using paypal. This was under the old postage cost so she now owes me the difference of $9 in postage cost.
What would you guys advise me to do? I've already sent her a polite email explaining the situation. Do I just advise her to send me the extra $9 to my paypal acc or should I refund what she has already sent me?
Thanks and happy Christmas to all

OP - Exact same thing with me yesterday ๐ฎ As it is even closer to Xmas now I asked buyer to just put the Exp cost in my bank account ($15.00 extra) and I risked it and sent off to her before noon. Glad I did, the money was in my account this morning, so still good honest people out there for all the horrors we occasionally have to cop! ๐

Yes, this thread is quite a change! Good for you and the OP. I think it may have been digital_ghost who said a little while ago that the majority of posts are when people come in search of a solution to their problem, so it's good that a solution was able to be reached.

there is no $5 standard post, the cheapest after letter rate is $6.60.

@beryl_green
Nope there isn't. I just set it at $5 to make my items more attractive to buy and foot the difference ๐
I may change it if it's proving to be to costly for me ๐ฎ
