Habitual neg feedback leaver says item is not as described. Oh what to do!

Just after a few opinions please as not too sure what to do.
Received an "item not as described" message from a buyer this morning.

I sold her a pair of pre owned shoes and said in listing that they measure 26cm. She  says they only measure 25.5cm.
I immediately messaged back and said of course I would arrange return and full return if i had measured wrong - could she please send a photo to me with a measuring tape on them.
She has since sent a photo but it is too small to actually  see the measurements on the tape anyway.

All that aside I would have refunded BUT I just went and had a look at what type of feedback she leaves for other sellers.
In 15 out of her last 25 transcations as a buyer she has left negative feedback for the seller - wow she sure is an unlucky buyer.
She even leaves negative feedback if the seller refunds.

So if she is going to leave me negative feedback anyway - should I bother to send her a reund?
What do others think?

Think it was a miserable 5mmmmmmmms.

Other can cut her toenails - diet perhaps - water retention???

Think you only buy shoes of a make you have had previously & know the fitting.

Otherwise as a buyer it is a big 5mm gamble.

The argument should be DID IT FIT!!!!!  Not that ithere was a 5mm variation between sellers' sizing and buyers'  ??? tape measure.  So, the sale item is described accurately, however the buyer is looking for something to find fault with.  Some people do not have a happy life.

It'll get to the stage where sellers will become very vague with the description, for fear of this IND nonsense.

I am in agreement - totally.

It was after all a miserable 5mm.

Possibly a really cheap tape measure purchased from China with FREE POSTAGE.

Well, well, well.

I messaged buyer asking for clearer photos because from the one she sent me, it looked awefully close to 26cm and I would not be able to rectify the situation unless she could provide better proof.

Her response:-

"You're kidding me right? How about this - I'll open a dispute with PayPal and I'll leave the appropriate feedback. Happy?"

Is that enough proof to report her to Ebay for feedback extortion?

Geeze you feel like saying... you mean negative feedback like you leave for all other sellers. Yep ebay will be really interested in looking into your history. <---don't say that.

If 1/2 cm is that important to her offer her a full refund on return of the item. I think you are going to get a neg regardless of what you do. But least if you give her the option to return ebay can see you tried to address the problem.

If you do report her make sure you suggest they check out her feedback history left for sellers.

ooh nasty piece of work you got there.Since you saw that she leaves a neg even after a refund & that smart a.. remark in the reply to you,then at least you know how it's going to go.

Maybe she got that freaky long 2nd frog to that's going to dangle precariously over the edge of the sandle.Being a genetic thing she can blame her ancestors for that 5mm difference.

Good for you for being realistic & not bowing to her demands.Neg if you do,neg if you don't so might as well duke it out.

I said earlier I wasn't going to put any written description just a picture, then it can't be not as described
