Has the way we list Sell items changed?

I want to list 4 different panties and offer 4 for $xxx, however I suspect eBay have made an "update" to Sell.  Anyone know what is going on as the new List does not allow you to easily list this.  I have a store.

Re: Has the way we list Sell items changed?

It probably depends on how you want to list the offer, I think.  eg As a variation so that you have 4 variations with a quantity of 1, and one variation with a quantity of 4, or as a promotional offer (which you can set up separately from the listing via Promotions Manager).

I had the new selling form for a little while but then opted out, so unfortunately I can't take a look through the way it's set out to try and work out how to get to certain options or functions, but if by some chance you've been 'upgraded' to the quick listing tool instead of the new advanced form, look for a small link to switch the advanced tool at the top-right of the listing form.

Re: Has the way we list Sell items changed?

You have to start a new listing from scratch, and when they ask you to enter what you're selling, just type in 'car'.

When you get to the next screen, scroll down to the end and click 'continue without selecting a product from the catalogue' (or something similar to that), when you do, a warning will pop up on screen saying that the new listing tool isn't available in the motor category, and that if you continue, you'll have to use the old listing form.

This should only need to be done once, and then all future listings should be with the old form. (Just to note, I have not found any options or ways to opt back in to using the new form, so AFAIK it'll permanently revert you until the new one is fully implemented).

digi, how do you opt out of the new form?  I wouldn't mind if it they didn't change my fonts and mess up the code on me!

Thanks for that. I remember you explaining some of this before but I thought it was in relation to something else. Sorry to cause you to have to repeat it all.
