Have the weekend $1 FVF deals finished ?

I usually receive the $1 offer for weekends but nothing this weekend ... did anyone else receive one or have they finished that ?
Won’t be using eBay anymore if they have stopped it !!!

This is the latest response from eBay to my emails:

"I apologise if I have misunderstood your email. Actually, we are having an issue with the $1 Weekend Promo as of the moment. The promo is not showing in the Selling Promotions of some sellers account. For this, please continue to list your items using this promo. We will still honour you this promotion.

At the same time, all items that you will list using the $1 Weekend Promo will still comply the T&C's so that your listings will be eligible. If fees will incur from listing your items, please let us know so that we can adjust the fees for you."

I wouldn't take the risk.

Extra stress and time spent on the phone, maybe for nothing.

We'll just wait and see.

Maybe if they re-introduce the promotion we'll get it on both non-store accounts rather than just one.

This does sound promising. I have two sites; both non-stores. My other site has a $3.30 FVF offer but then I have nothing on offer on this site.
It's very confusing.

Extra stress and time spent communicating with eBay via email (my preferred method), is spot on! But I'm in the middle of it now, so I will push on to achieve what they have promised.

I've received a refund for the FVF portion I was charged in excess of $1.10, only that wasn't calculated quite right, so another email is in the works to right this.

Your situation is exactly the same as mine, two sites, both non-stores, one site with a useless $3.30 FVF offer, no offer on the other. And it is all SO CONFUSING.

I'm focusing on my main site, and going ahead as if I have the usual Weekend $1 FVF offer, based on their emails to me.

FWIW they told me the same thing in a chat. They will refund excess fees for people who normally get the promotion. Please don't shoot the messenger! 😄

I spoke to eBay via live chat ... they told me that the promotion is being sent to different people now to give everyone a chance at the weekend offer of $1 ... they also said that I can list items until 12pm tonight and then to contact them to refund the fees charged ... lol ... we all get told different things ... and the next nightmare is then trying to get them to actually follow through with what their reps say ... contacting them to get fees refunded is always a **bleep** nightmare and so time consuming and frustrating !!!!!

Yeas, totally agree. But at least i have it in writing, so hopefully that mightt help.

That is the key I think, having it in writing.

I'm slowly getting there, fees so far have been refunded, waiting on a response regarding my 40 free monthly listings being used up ...
