Help needed to offer free postage on listing

I have a single product and wish to list it for sale in Australia with both free local postage and also free international postage. Problem is that the product is located in China and shipped from China. The eBay "robot" will not accept the listing unless an Australian Postage method is first selected. Anyone out there that can tell me how I can get the item listed on ebay.com.au  simply as free domestic postage and free international postage? (as the item cannot be delivered by an Australian delivery method)

While the others all have very valid points, to answer your question, you can only have one postage method or the other. You can't have both domestic and international. You would have to select the standard international option (or whatever it's called), or an express option if there is one. As the items would be sent from overseas, you don't want or need a domestic shipping option.

I would be making it very clear in the title "ITEM SENT FROM OVERSEAS". You need to ram it home to the buyers because you are asking for trouble. Really, you are. As the others pointed out, one INR and you're screwed. You would be far better importing them yourself and then selling them. I would also want some pretty heavy proof that they are what they say they are. We all know the Chinese are the masters of fakes, especially when it comes to stones, rocks, jewellery, statues, clothing. Pretty much anything you can think of really. Having a high price doesn't guarantee it is what it says it is.
