Annual Price Review notification
We review our prices annually to make sure we can continue delivering reliable services for customers across Australia, while keeping prices as affordable as possible.

As part of our Annual Price Review, we'll be increasing our standard retail prices for domestic and international parcels, from which your MyPost Business rates are calculated, effective 1 July 2026.

The following price changes will apply:

  • an increase of 4.95% across all Domestic Parcel services.
  • a weighted average increase of 3.75% across International Parcel services in all zones.
  • MyPost Business Pickup service will increase by 9.7%.

We recognise that many customers and businesses are facing ongoing cost pressures, which is why any price change is carefully considered. Last year, we made a deliberate decision to keep the Annual Price Review increase below inflation.

Savings for MyPost Business will remain unchanged across bands 1 to 5, so you'll continue to receive savings on eligible products and services. Domestic and International Extra Cover and Signature on Delivery (SOD) service prices will also remain unchanged. Please read the MyPost Business Rates and Savings Guide for further detail.

You can find more information about our retail price changes by visiting www.auspost.com.au/pricing-updates.

If they go much further, they might price themselves out of the market, sending us all back to B&M stores……goodbye buyers and sellers

Exactly.  More people will turn to Marketplace & gumtree for just local pick ups.

Government appears to have narrow mindness about a postal service.  One that serves nearly every person in country who has little choice of carrier.  They scream about anti-competitive in so many sectors like supermarkets, yet being hypocritical about running their own postal monopoly.

They sold off all government taxpayers assets and spent the money, but are they actually doing us a favour by not selling Australia Post to private enterprise and losing control and we are worse off ?

Re: Here we go again - greedy AP

Yet AP only Charges the Chinese AUD $4 to deliver 1kg parcels within Australia when sent from China/HK.

Aussies have been subsidising Chinese sellers for many years and instead of charging them $8 and everyday Aussies $8, we get slugged so that China can enjoy Aust Post service (cough!) on the cheap.
