Hi,
I have a buyer who found the item, while as advertised, didn't suit. He wants to contact the under bidder. Is this possible, and if so, how can it be done.
Cheers

There's a reason why bidders details are kept private.....so other bidders can't contact them. If you think they are genuine, YOU could contact the under bidder and ask them if they are still interested in your item and would they like to buy it. I don't think I would be giving the names of the other bidders to the winner. If they agree, it would be up to the current buyer to post it to the underbidder if they have agreed for you to pass their details on.
I'd be curious to see what some of the more seasoned sellers have to say about this one.

Has the Buyer paid and recieved the item as yet? Or has he ( the buyer ) contacted you telling you this.

It sounds as if the buyer has had a chance to inspect the item, if he 'found the item as advertised."
But if that deal is done and dusted, he has paid, you have sent, then it really isn't your job to be reselling the item.
Personally, I would not be handing on any details of other bidders. Most likely they have moved on, anyway. The seller could relist it himself.

You might fall foul of the offering to conduct transactions outside of ebay if you do this.
I would just tell the buyer they should relist it

Good advice from everyone, thanks. I'm new to this so am stumbling along. Didn't know anyone else could see these emails. Living and learning.
