Holding pick up items paid with PayPal.

An item I sold back in mid February and was a pick up only (too large to post). Was paid with PayPal much to my annoyance, and they have repeatedly said they would organise collection. It's now over 60 days since the listing ended, well over the 45 days for PayPal too and it's still here. The item has disappeared from my sold items since it only displays the last 60 days. I have not expressly put anything in the listing to say it has to be picked up by xxx date, but is there a point at which it's fair to say I've hassled them enough and they can forfeit their payment? It's more that I want the thing out of the way. Maybe indicate there will be storage fees or something? Would they also be past the point of feedback if I resold it?

They can only leave feedback for 60 days so you are safe there too.

Just send them an email giving them X days to pick it up or you will refund the payment less storage fees of $xx.

That should galvanise the buyer into action.  After this length of time I think 7 days would be an appropriate time...it also gives them a weekend.

My fear is that they have funded the paypal payment with a credit card and may do a chargeback in the future.  Make sure that any refund is done through the original paypal payment.
