I sold, inadvertently, a Region 2 DVD instead of and region 4. The buyer notified me in an unpleasant messgae. I apologized and refunded, immediately, his payment and postage. after he returned the item to me. I also refunded his postage costs to me which were three times the postage that he initially paid.. Two weeks later he left me negative feedback saying that It wass blatantly not as described and that I was unpleasant. If eBay is reading this they can read that I was always pleasant and co-operative. I phoned eBay three times and I was told each time that the buyer's expereince was negative and that he was entitlred to. I have been with eBay since 2003 and have supplied a very good service to my customers. i asked the buyer to revise the feedback and he sent a lengthy message as to why he wouldn't. I would like the feedback removed if possible. Thank you.

Sometimes no matter what you do it goes wrong
Just have to wear it
If you have lots of positive feedback you will be ok
Been there done that

No chance of having that NEG removed I would say.
You just have to cop it sweet and move on.
You might consider leaving a non-emotional factual reply to the neg.
That way other potential buyers may be placated.

The others are right. Sometimes you just have to wear it & do what you did- put a factual reply that shows other buyers what the problem was and how you dealt with it.
I realise it was an honest mistake but the wrong region isn't exactly a minor error as it makes the item unusable for some buyers. The buyer was nasty about it, you can't change that. Once some buyers have been upset they will give a neg no matter what you do to fix things for them.
But really, a negative means very little. I'm mainly a buyer & when i look at negs, all I am after is information. Why the buyer is unhappy. If it is a problem the seller fixed then it won't stop me buying from them.
