I am limited to selling only ten items per month ( or $2,500 ), whichever occurs first. This makes it difficult to build a feedback rating. How can I have this limit increased ?

If that doesn't work, it might just be a case of trying to build up some more feedback. I do understand that's hard when you can only sell 10 things a month, and not everyone leaves feedback.
In the interim, list a couple of things every few days, that way you can spread the 10 across the month and you aren't left with nothing by the second week. Don't forget to tick the relist 3 times for free if that option is showing up for you when you create your listings. That also helps spread them further into the month. List for 7 or 10 days for maximum exposure.
Good luck!

The quicker you get some feedback, the quicker they'll increase your limit. Find a few cheap items that are likely to sell quickly and that'll get your feedback a bit faster than if you list higher priced items. If you've got some small items you're willing to sacrifice at a cheap price, list those. You might have to do a bit of work for little return, but if it gets you some feedback it'll be worth it in the long run.
