How do I have local pick up only on my ads, I don't want to include the postage option?

In the postage section of the listing form, click 'Add or remove options' (it will be next to the heading). When the window pops up, make sure the 'Local pick-up' box is ticked, then save.

After that, the option 'No postage, local pick up only', should be able to be selected from the postage options in the dropdown menu. Use 'Pay on pick-up' in the payments section rather than Cash on delivery (you may need to 'add or remove options' in that section to reveal it). 

If you have the business policies implemented on your account, you should be able to create a new policy for pick-up only and once saved, you can simply select it from the policy dropdown menu.

There is no "Add or remove" option in the postage section, only states "use the packaging and postage option we've suggested for you" and "create your own postage option".

There is an asterix that states "required feild" and there dosen't seem to be any option that I can find to allow for local pick up only.

Is this due to free listing option?

have a look at create your own postage option - sounds like you are being asked to create a postage policy as part of the new business policy format.

also make sure you haven't ticked any boxes like "free postage"
