I do sell well overseas usually.Buyers pay postage for something they really want and dont complain..I just had this person questioning the postage ..
Thanks for letting me know how the bigger sellers get discounts.that was very interesting.Thank you

these items are shipped from China , the Australia goverment picks up the tab China Air delivers in bulk to each state Australia Post does the rest, clearance checking for customs, transfering to the mail centers then the Post office then to the delivery man all for free from China , Yes we all pay for it, makes you wonder there is not a royal Commision into it .
No good to Pay Pal and Ebay they make more out of us as they get 10% of our shipping cost as a commision miniunum 74cents
they get nothing from China
THATS FREE INTERPRIZE!

Any mail coming into Australia is the responsibility of Australia Post once it arrives here....Customs clearances, sorting and delivery.
This applies to every country in the world, not just China. And every country is responsible for delivering Australian mail in their own country.
Have you never heard of the Universal Postal Union? Australia has been a member for over 100 years.
What do you think a Royal Commission is going to do?

Oh gawd, not a royal commission. It's bad enough that we pay eBay a commission, without having to send extra to the Royal Family too. Like they aren't already rich enough! I like the royals and all, but I don't fancy paying them a commission.

Try reading the whole thread....there have been plenty of suggestions posted in the FIVE YEARS since the thread was started.

Very illuminating. And a good reason to drag up an ancient thread....not!
