How does a company get the top 10 listing on a search? Even when I sell more than them?

There is a company who are always above me, we sell similar products for the same prices. They have been caught cheating before and buying there own products. I know they are cheating again, just don't know how. I sell more items but sit lower, it does my head in, any ideas how they are staying so high for their products?

Usually it's when a seller offers everything, free postage, total refunds and is a TRS or powerseller.

That is supposed to lift in searches in best match.

But most eBayers I know, myself included use either ending soonest or cheapest first in searches, hence it becomes irrelevant.

Unfortunately, most  dipstix  buyers don't change their search from Best Match'

As opposed to Kopes, I search Newly Listed. 

Just off topic for a bit, but geez, you've spent 12 months waiting for that

neg to drop off, when ebay would have removed it.
