How is everyone approaching these new changes? These price rises are going to hurt alot of people especially if you have been offering free postage.
I know there are some items (less than $15 with free postage) where the margins are pretty tight and I have noticed that they haven't gone up in price as yet.
Also what is the cheapest way to send small items?

the ebay satchel rate for 500g now costs me $7.30 with click and send; so it is cheaper to send an ordinary parcel, it still gets tracking, and it costs $6.95.
pretty dismal then, when we were told the click and send was the bees knees.
Depends on the cost of the packaging. I send parcels usually in Bx6 boxes, which are about a dollar or a bit more, so that will be $7.95 minimum once the new system comes in. If an eBay 500g satchel is $7.30 all up including packaging, that's quite a bit cheaper.

And of course, they are all in it together. Big boys with toys. If you have not navigated the recently updated APO website....its all about express, ebay click and send...etc...up front....awful site to navigate now...really pushing ebay there...ugh

And anything over 500g can still go flat rate with C&S, which is not the case (except for satchels) with standard post.
I will stick with C&S - I have documentary evidence of the receiver's address and it is tracked to the door. The PP+ satchels were only tracked to the delivery centre - I haven't seen any indication that this has changed.

I would like to know WHY is there Click & Send now?? What is the benefit to sellers, I'm going bald with the constant scratching of my headII
because CS gives you tracking to the buyers address, and the address is on file in your CS paperwork, the new parcelwithtracking .. is just that, tracking, to the nearest delivery center (like express post has always been), with no link of address of buyer to the actual tracking number.

"How is everyone dealing with the new Aust Post Pricing?"
Well, this week I put a big carton of items together for the op shop. Now I have 'less' items to worry about packaging and posting 😉
When I get back to ebay selling I will stick with what I am familiar with and what proves to be cheapest and most practical for me and the buyer. This will include using numerous prepaid products. Letter rates (large letters) is also my friend for lower value/replaceable items.
The Aust Post prepaid C5 envelope costs me no more than $1.40 and for that I can send up to 500grams (providing it is no thicker than 20mm). For bulkier items it is prepaid satchels for the time being (normally purchased as 10-packs to reduce costs even more).

First time tried C&S on Monday to post a small parcel (500g satchel), added tracking number to listing (83201479194099) but apparently still can't see any tracking results after 4 days, not sure ebay's tracking link not working or what, I also tried to track the parcel using AP's website but can see nothing other than "accepted from customer", just hoping nothing goes wrong...

Ebay tracking links don't seem to work in particular browser set ups.
Punching that number in on the australia post website shows that it was prepared for post and lodged

Posted to early...
If you are sending the parcel from WA to east cost then it is not unusual that another scan has not shown up, it usually doesn't until it hits the delivery centre destination nearest to the addressee.

Thanks catspjs. Actually my first time using C&S, have always been using normal registered parcel, thought the ebay preferred postage package would make some difference in tracking results but apparently it doesn't
