How long for approval to sell sexual wellness items?

I was trying to rebrand my ebay account to reflect my business , because I want to get serious about selling on ebay in 2023. My company imports several SKUs of sexual wellness items from wholesalers.  I went and listed a sexual wellness item, but got a message that said yadda yadda yadda, restricted to approved sellers, and I wasnt able to list anything. I was under the impression as long as it was in a specific category you could list it there. 

So I contact CS and ask about the process of getting approved. They transferred me to a department who handled that. This new department said everything looked good to them but they had to forward info to another department and I should hear back in 24 hours via email if I do recall. 

Its been over 48 hours and I havent heard anything. Is the delay due to the holidays or does this process take awhile. Can this process take weeks?

Did you provide all the required info, 

Sex toys and sex accessories may be listed in the Health & Beauty > Health Care > Sexual Wellness categories following these guidelines:

• The Sex Toys and Fantasy, Fetish & Accessories categories are restricted to pre-approved sellers. To apply for approval, please contact us. Let us know you'd like to be approved to list in restricted sexual wellness categories, and be ready to provide your eBay username, Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Company Number (ACN), registered business name and website

I would be very surprised if you were approved over the holiday period.  As to how long verification of your info is likely to take, is anyones guess

When I applied to sell in a restricted category about a year ago I think it took at least a week possibly more.

I just gotta ask . . . what products will you be selling?  (don't panic, I won't set up a store and become a competitor . . . I am just curious)
