How to cancel a sale.

I recently sold a DVD to a buyer in the US. She ordered it and paid for it straight away. I told her that the DVD was Region 4 (Australia) and wouldn't play on her American player. I refunded her payment on PayPal and thought I had cancelled it on eBay, especially when I received a message asking if I wanted to relist it for free. When I look at my items awaiting postage the DVD is still there and there is no apparent option to cancel the sale. What am I missing. The item number is 143787423119

How to cancel a sale.

Are there any options at all in the drop down menu beside the sold item?

How to cancel a sale.

Yes, and they all relate to completing the sdales process (mark as sent, add tracking, leave feedback and similar). I can't find an option to cancel the sale.

How to cancel a sale.

Probably because you have already refunded.

The correct procedure is to cancel the sale in eBay and agree to refund the buyer.

You could well have copped the sales fees on this one. You have already lost the Paypal fees, as they no longer refund.

Might I suggest that if your are selling Region 4 DVDs, you only sell to Region 4 compatible locations.

Noting that regions don't tend to be an issue if using a computer.
