How to get cheap postage

The reality is the more items you send the larger the postage discount. Is it possible to make an alliance with another ebay seller and post the items under one account. Sort of like a group deal for postage, If so who want to make an alliance with me. Any thoughts?

I am aware of a few people on Ebay who make an alliance and post together to get the business discounts from Aus post. 

Not sure how that would work, as I assume you do need an ABN etc, which is fine, but will probably make things weird at tax time if you run the two business seperately, especially if youre audited.

Good idea, just do it with someone you trust.

I think theres also a Auspost 150 special...? not sure i think Digital Ghost mentioned it previously. Not sure if you need to be a business.

There are ways to make EVERYTHING in life cheaper without changing format (eg becoming a business), or changing companies (e.g using a courier). You just need to find it. Trust me, it's out there. 😉

Aye 🙂 It's called Business 250, so anyone sending 250+ parcels a year (via Aus Post) can qualify, and it basically gives an account up to 10% off postage prices via Click & Send (I'm not sure what the average discount percentage is, I'm pretty sure some are closer to the 5% mark, though).

It would bring the normal red & white (not pre-paid) satchels more closely inline with eBay's postage prices on satchels, I think, but the biggest difference is that even some international parcel prices are discounted (you can't even print an international label on ebay, so it's worth looking into for smaller businesses who post overseas and can't get contract rates etc).

As i am sick of Australian post prices, they are way to expensive and it ruins everything for us as eBay bussiness !!
