Hello! Sorry if this is obvious but I cannot find the answer.
I have sold a few items before and would like to sell more now as I am moving house soon.
Ebay says I can list 10 items a month.
It says to raise my selling limit I must link to another account with a higher selling limit (I do not have this).
Is there another way to do this?
The seller dashboard says I have above average performance.
I simply cannot find the answer.
May the average seller only sell 10 items a month? How can this be increased?

Have you set up automatic payment method for fees at all? The fastest way is usually to either link a valid PayPal account to eBay, or put a valid credit / debit card on file, as most of the time that will lift the limit to 100 items per month.

I think the OP actually needs to call eBay to request a higher limit. When I created my second account, I had the starting limit of 10. I immediately linked it to my main account which at the time had over 900 feedback and an active selling account. I also linked up my PayPal account and credit card. That lifted my limit to 30.
The next month I clicked on the increase limit link again and it told me to call eBay. I just let it go. I think it increased to 100 when I reached around 70 feedback. I now have 130 feedback on that account and it's still on 100. I'm not that worried, I'm just happy to let it increase when eBay feels like increasing it. I have a limit of 800 on my main account, which is more than I can ever use (I don't have a store and refuse to pay listing fees, so just use the 40 a month plus free listing promotions when they come up).
I also hope that the OP realises that PayPal will hold their funds for 21 days..........
Edited to add: when I linked up my PayPal and credit card, I also set up automatic fee payments.

Which new rules? I created that account Nov 14.

Sorry, i should of been more specific, i meant the new rules that came in november last year, ie:ebays MBG and paypals 180 day thing.

I think I created just before them. I know it was just before the 21 day hold, because initially my funds were mine, then all of a sudden they were being held. That only lasted 2 weeks, then I got the FOS to whack them! 48 hours later, no more held funds 🙂
Actually, I lied, it was Oct 27 '14 I created the account. My first sale was the first week in Nov.

When I opened this account and my pre-list account adding a credit card immediately upped my limits to 100 and $US7,500 per month. In fact, pre-list went up to 130 the other day. Pretty useless as it only uses freebies, and I've never quite hit the 100.
That was a few years ago, so it might have changed.
My main selling account has never had restrictions.

With no other account to link this one to, and a feedback of only 7,
I doubt that you will be able to lift those limits until that feedback is
quite a bit larger. Kinda like chasing your tail, I know.
My seller dashboard on this account says my seller performance
is above standard. I have never sold anything on this id
Try what others have said. Link a credit card, maybe
Try calling ebay. Nothing to lose
