Hi everyone hope you can help please with some advice for a reply .
..Between 2 ids with over 1000 positive between them I just received my first neg yesterday from a buyer with 0 feedback and who joined ebay the day she bought from me. I always have in my listings and also send a note with all items saying that I will happily refund in full, apologising if I have made a mistake, item not as described etc and to please contact me first if there is an issue as anything other than a positive will affect my ongoing selling etc .
The buyer made no contact at all to let me know there was a problem. The dress was given to me to sell and I was told that it was new, however my mistake I know I should have double checked before sending..it definitely looked new to me. I have sent a message this morning apologising and offered a full refund plus I have asked if she would consider revising her feedback .Your suggestions for a reply please to the neg if I don't hear from her...thinking along the lines of "So very sorry,no contact, genuine mistake would have refunded in full "
Many Thanks : )

"All items guaranteed, refunds available for any errors. Cant resolve if no contact"
You are not adressing that buyer now, you are leaving a message for any potential future buyers. They want to know if there is a problem what will you do about it.
If item is new without tags how come you have a RRP?
Personally I dont sell anything as new unless its got tags. Often if tag is missings it may be a second (sometimes the case even with tags) and have things like hanging straps cut. Selling as preowned will overcome that, and I find does not affect value. I sell a lot of dresses and find whether new or preowned makes no difference to value. Stating new leaves you no margin for errors.
In fact if an item is obviously a new second with a minor flaw, I will remove tag and sell as preowned.
