Hi there.
Just wondering if there is a way to trace a purchase made (not by me) about 3 years ago?
My husband's grandfather's (lost) war medals and Record of Service Book and associated photos were apparently sold on FB about 3 years ago. Wondering if there is a way to find out who bought them? Would love to be able to reunite these parts of history to my husband's family.
Thanks.

I've got no idea what you're talking about. I read the original post and replied to same. Your input is very unhelpful and in a way you seem to be bullying others, including me. There is no way to find an item sold by someone else, if not the seller or the buyer, unless the person lays a police report and then the police force eBay to trace their records because no one else will get eBay to do a trace.

Then read the OP again.

You replied as if the OP was the seller./buyer. Of which she was neither.
And again, you haven't read the whole thread.
Other members have suggested there may be other ways to find the sale.
Bullying?.............pfffft

To be fair, waddingtonfirstaid may be onto something as far as e-mails. The OP hasn't stated whether she knows the person who sold the war medals or not. From the sounds of it, it could very well be a family member or friend, to have access to such personal items.
So, if she does know the person who sold them (or could at least find out by asking family members, etc), asking them to check their e-mails could turn up a great result, for reasons that waddingtonfirstaid explained.
