I am getting more and more items returned by Australia Post marked "unknown", even though the address is correct, but is lacking a business name.
When I queried this at the Post Office, I was told that it is Australia Post policy that mail that is being delivered to a business address MUST show the business name on the address label. I have searched Australia Post website and downloaded their postage guide but I must be searching on the wrong terms as I can't find anything about it. (I did also search the forums before posting this question, so I apologise if it's been asked before - I searched the forums on Australia Post and Unknown and Business Name but nothing relevant came up.)
I have now started asking buyers with an obvious business address but with no business name for the business name before I post their item.
If anyone could tell me where I can locate the Australia Post policy, it would be very helpful!

I defy anybody to find any information on the AP website, except by luck or previous experience (as long as the page was bookmarked).
I suspect the best way to find this policy is to refer the matter to the Postal Industry Ombudsman.
