I am logged into my ebay Australia account and my item shows starting bid in US dollars?

Ive tried everything but can't change it to Australian dollars. It also have a message in red saying 'will not deliver in Australia'

Hi David,

You will have inadvertently have listed using the Ebay.com site (and I believe the default setting is domestic shipping) instead of the Ebay.com.au site.

The best fix will be to close the auction and relist the item on the Australian site, because even if you add Australian shipping details, as an Australian seller it won't show on the default Australian search, so most Australian buyers won't see it.

You can not change the listing currency on any of the Ebay sites, and need to make the listing on the site that carries that currency.
