I have tried this before when I was in hospital but it didn't work and people could still see and buy my items. Does anyone know how to make them invisible or to suspend selling without closing down the store? Any help is greatly appreciated.

probably someone more experienced will come along soon - as I fear I can't help - it has always worked for me
did you double check you have filled in the correct holiday dates and put a tick next to
Hide and block purchases from my fixed price listings

When you activate your holiday settings, make sure the box that says "Hide and block purchases from my fixed price listings" is ticked.
People who have items in their watch list can still view listings, but they will be blocked from purchasing.

I've got a few on my watch list atm. They just have a banner up the top saying something like "seller is away until 10th February, so there may be a delay in processing your order"
who knows, after getting settled into your new acommodation and are ready to start trading again, you might come back with a few orders to get you going.

Thankyou heaps. I have done this so lets see if it works this time. I can't bear the thought of finding books that are packed away in crates over the next 2 weeks or risk bad feedback ๐

That means they haven't hidden their listings and you can still buy - if they had hidden the listing, it would say "This seller is not currently processing orders, but you can save the item to your watch list and purchase it later".
