The 200 is the number of free Buy it now or collectible auction listings you can have - with the store, while you may still have selling restrictions, you can at least have guaranteed access to more free listings per month (60 extra until your selling limits are raised, which has a value of around $90 for the store fee of $20 per month, discounting any free listing promotions eBay may or may not run, plus list BINs at 30 day duration, good-til cancelled instead of the maximum 10 days without a store, so there is value in that).

yeah well, we all learn as we go along
there is a lot to take in.
so maybe since you are starting to try and learn, maybe ask on the boards before you do something, or see if you can find relevant info on the site map or in customer support
but I know thats tricky if you don't know there is something to look for, eh?
i get that
but a great way to learn, and if you are taking selling seriously is to read the trading boards lots and lots, cos even if it doesn;'t asll sink in at once, you might remember seeing something on the boards about it and then know to ask or look for more info iykwim

Crikey, just curious as to why you say autorelists will cost. I have listings on AR in a store and they relist for three extra times (30 days each time) without it costing me anything.

yep i only opened a store a couple of weeks ago
i had around 200 listings which were active (most were auctions) at the time i opened the store
all of those auctions had the Auto Relist 3 times box ticked and were on their first relist.
Since then those auctions have all autorelisted a couple of times and there is no charge
Basically any listings that were actioned prior to opening the store will run its course (and with the 3 free auto-relists)

I'm sorry
OP said his auctions were listed before he opened the store
when we list in auction format on a basic account, we get the option to relist 3 more times for free if it doesn't sell and not using up your listing limits
BUT
when we change over to store format, when the auction relists, the system recognizes the store and charges the $1.50 for the auction listing cos stores only get free auction listings in collectables

oops, apologies then, because I asked that exact question today
I have only ever opened a store with no current listings before, but one of my auction accounts has now moved along quite nicely and has about 500 listings loaded to go (I dont use turbo lister, so just list like crazy when we get the free listings) and I just rotate them
so I asked today what happened when I opened a store with active listings in the account, and that was one of the things I was told
