I just picked up another defect for a cancelled transaction because I don't post to China and cancelled the transaction
Ebay customer support said it was a defect because I did not have an exclusion for that country even though I do not offer international shipping in my listings

😞 That is totally unfair - this new Defect System is beyond Defective
I did read somewhere though that the method required for excluding International Shipping is a two fold process, not just a simple 'don't Ship Internationally' - that is probably what CS are referring to, but it is still pathetic. As far as I'm concerned, it should just be a simple and very straight forward - Tick the Box - NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING and that should be the end of it !
Have been meaning to look closely at mine though, because I do ship to some overseas countries, so since reading that post have been wondering if I'm supposed to exclude all other countries - not just tick the ones I do ship to.

Yes I would say you will have to exclude countries you do not ship so someone cannot buy it otherwise it will cost you a defect if you cancel the transaction 😞

Go to your account in your My eBay and select Site preferences.
Scroll down and click on Postage preferences > Exclude postage locations from your listings and click on Edit.
Then tick the box for each location that you want to exclude.
If you click on Show each country it lets you be more specific if you don't want to include all the countries in that
list.
Clik Apply once you have it set the way you want.

Without going in and checking, I think you can tick a box to apply to current listings, can't you?
