I'm having lots of problems trying to get FileManager to accept a CSV file

Many attempts have been made to massage a CSV file into something that eBay Australia accepts.  It's very tedious when you get down to only one error, make one change in one column - and then have another 4 errors pop up in the next try.

So can someone point to a url that shows a worked example.  Just 2  lines in the spreadsheet - the column headings and one line of real data would be great

thanks

If you are talking about File Exchange CSV uploads there is a, PDF document that shows what each field is and how to use it.
About 12 months ago I did get it to work but most of our listings have variations and there is a problem with variation images when using File Exchange.
I found that the PDF handbook had errors in it too.
I had quite a bit of correspondence with the turbo data people who are the developers and they were quite responsive and helpful. Whilst they acknowledged the image errors I encountered and the document errors there, was no plan to correct them. So in the end it was all useless to us to use so I gave up.

Their email address is:

turbodata@eBay.com

Good luck getting it to work. It was fun.

OK, thanks for that klink. It looks complex though.

Youi'd think that eBay, as they make more than enough money out of everyone,  would make it easier for users.

They could afford to employ top notch architects and programmers to put together an API that made uploading multiple listings easy and foolproof. .

Too much to hope for.
