Yes - I talked to EBay and they have noted the buyer default for further reference, blocked that person from bidding on the new listing and waived fees. So, hopefully should the vehicle sell it will get paid for and go to a nice home! If not I will fix myself and keep for my daughter for when she gains more driving experience/confidence.

Don't bother.
If he has not contacted you at all you can open an Unpaid Item dispute to get your fees back.
Open it after 4 days and close it exactly 4 days later (to the minute)....the buyer will get a strike on their account and will not be able to leave feedback.

I absolutely wouldn't. That's just me, personally. But I think what starts on ebay should stay on ebay.
If he isn't replying by now, it isn't looking good. I don't get the sense he is keen on carrying through with the deal.
I am not sure of the selling rules with vehicles, I think they may be different and one of the sellers might be able to help you more.
The main thing I'm not sure of is if you have paid a set advertising fee or if you pay extra commission once a sale is finalised or not but if so, then it's time to do whatever you need to do-via ebay- to cancel the sale.
Just go through and read the terms, I guess, and use them as your guide but don't feel too bad about it all as from what I have read, a fair few car sales fall through.

Donโt bother, Lyndal
heโs already relisted it!

It has only been relisted in the last hour.....I would bet it is not going to worry the buyer after all this time.
